Electricity Supply Industry Expert Panel | Draft report

Draft report

The Panel released "An Independent Assessment of the Tasmanian Electricity Supply Industry – Draft Report" on 15 December 2011. The Draft Report contains the Panel’s findings and recommendations for actions that would inform the development of an energy strategy. The Panel places particular importance on gathering feedback on both the structural reform elements associated with competitive market segments and in relation to governance. The two key steps for gathering this input are:

  • Public hearings, which will be held in Tasmania on 1 and 2 February 2012; and
  • Lodging submissions with the Panel before 17 February 2012.
